  My domain was expired two months ago. How can I recover it?

  Hi there,

  Your domain expired and is now in redemption. Normally, that requires you to pay for the domain renewal plus an additional $80 redemption fee. We are able to help offset the cost of getting your domain back online by waiving the $80 redemption fee as a one-time courtesy.

  I have emailed you a payment request for the domain’s renewal ($18). Please reply here when you have completed the payment so I can start the recovery process.

  We apologize for the delayed response. We did hear back from our registry partner but we were informed that the domain could not be restored because it is about to exit the redemption period. The good news that the domain should be available for registration again within the next few days. It is currently in pending delete status which is a 5 day holding period from when the domain leaves redemption and becomes available for registration:

  What I will now do is add credits to your account so that you can go ahead and register the domain once it becomes available within the next few days.   You should be able to go to:

  https://wordpress.com/domains/add/onurgunduz.wordpress.com

  Type into the field onurgunduz.net – once you get a notice that the domain is free, you can register it again. Please let me know if you are unable to register the domain by the end of the week and I will look further into this.

  We added the domain onurgunduz.net back to your site https://onurgunduz.wordpress.com/

  When you have a domain with us, an email is sent to the address you registered the domain with to confirm that the email address exists. You need to click the link in the email to complete the verification. Make sure to do that as soon as possible.
