Expired domain

    Earlier today I created a website with the domain chirundown.com, but then realized I had created it on the wrong wordpress account. I refunded the purchase of the domain and wordpress plan on that account, but when I went to get it on the correct account it says the domain has recently expired and to contact wordpress support for further assistance. Can the domain be salvaged, and how? Thanks for your help

    Hi! When you cancel a domain it will go into holding for a bit. Please let us know which of these options works best for you:

    Wait: You can wait about five days for the domain to be released. So long as no one else buys it before you do, you can purchase it again.

    Repurchase the Domain: We can send an invoice and restore the domain. You’ll be able to point it to a new host as soon as it’s restored, then transfer the registration after 60 days. This invoice would go to the old account, though, so you’d be buying it through that and then transferring to this account.
