    I am having trouble renewing my domain – there is no where for my domain. please help

    Purezerophotography.com – godaddy said it is hosted by WordPress and it is parked. I need explanations as to why it is parked – get it unparked – and I need a code to move my domain

    Is anyone going to help me? this is the most ineffective way for support. My website is down with NO EXPLANATION as to why – my domain does not expire for another 330 days.
    I have reached out to Godaddy and western with no luck. they said you guys are the holder and need to assist me. Please snark my domain NOW.

    According to our records you started out with a site on WordPress.com, but decided at some point to move your hosting to GoDaddy, yes?

    One thing to be aware of is that while you may have migrated your site to GoDaddy, your domain itself (purezerophotography.com) is still registered under your WordPress.com account. I do see that you renewed last on 12/13/2019 when I look here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing/42253826

    However, it appears that you missed your 12/13/2020 renewal, and the domain expired for lack of payment 35 days ago. The good news is that it is not too late to recover the domain for you as it is still within it’s redemption period but to do so we will need to charge a $80 late redemption fee, as well as the $18 standard renewal cost ($98 total)

    The late redemption fee is one that is charged to us by our registry partner, so we are not able to waive it, but I have sent an invoice for the amount to recover the domain. Please check your inbox for the invoice we just sent.

    After you make payment please return here to let us know so we can take the next step of recovering the domain.

    IMPORTANT: We do not know to recover the domain unless you let us know you have made payment, so please be sure to come back here and update us, thanks!

    The payment has been completed. I was never notified of it being late. please restore my site.

    do we have a timeframe of when this will be fixed, now that I have completed the payment?

  • Hi @mnethercott10 I wanted to update you to let you know that your domain has been recovered and is once again active. I have visited purezerophotography.com and can confirm I see your Bluehost site loading as expected.

    When domain is recovered it’s not possible to transfer for 60 days, but after that time I recommend you do transfer to Bluehost, so that you can consolidate your billing with them.

    So please mark your calendar. 60 days from now you can transfer the domain to a Bluehost by following the steps here to unlock your domain and start the automated transfer process: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/transfer-domain-registration/
