  I’m trying to figure out how to get my page back, it expired last year. Am I able to do this? I can’t find it in the domain search or in my renew options.

  According to https://who.is/whois/womanofwhimsy.com and https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/womanofwhimsy.com your domain has been bought by squatters. You can buy “your” domain from them for a lot of money.

  There are 2 solutions:

  • go for a custom domain with another TLD
  • womanofwhimsy.com expires in july. If they don’t renew it, you can wait untill womanofwhimsy.com becomes available in the regular Pool of domains.

  I’m sorry to hear you lost the domain name. I checked, and this domain name was already registered by someone else and can no longer be recovered for now.

  Same with what @staartmees shared, you can register a new domain name or wait for this domain name to be back in the market. However, the latter option has no guarantee, and we wouldn’t know when that would be.

  Once a domain has been canceled, you are giving up ownership of it. There’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to reregister or reuse it again in the future.
