  how do i upgrade an expired domain?

  Hey there,

  The domain that was previously associated with your blog expired on May 30, and is currently available for repurchase. You can simply purchase the domain through Store -> Domains in your dashboard as if it was a brand new domain.

  hi. when i try to do that i get the msg “This domain has already been mapped to a WordPress.com blog.”

  Oops!

  I’ve gone ahead and removed the expired mapping from our system. Please let me know if you have any further problems mapping the domain.

  Oh! This same thing happened to me. I want to renew and I can’t. It also won’t let me repurchase my old domain because it says “This domain has already been mapped to a WordPress.com blog.”
