Expired domain name

I recently took over administration of this blog and discovered that our subscription for our domain name is expired. I’m trying to renew, but the expiration was so long ago that I can’t simply do it in the store; I need to contact support. But whenever I click the link to contact support, it simply sends me to these support forums. How do I actually get in touch with a support person to go through the renewal process?

Please be keenly aware that “our” company or group or whatever does not own the blog and Staff cannot just hand it off to anyone and/or cannot change any user roles.
Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and associated email address.
Only that blog owner can transfer blog ownership of any blog and the upgrades to another WordPress.COM username account (and associated email address) by making them an official user of the blog ie. an Admin first, and then using this process first followed by the upgrade transfer
