Expired Domain Name

  My domain expired and I would like to renew it. It expired about 2 years ago. It was sdubsports.com. Please let me know if there is a way I can get it back. Thank you!

  Thanks – I tried that, but my issue is that 3 years ago I mapped my URL domain name to this blog (I then let it expire). So when I go to my dashboard, and type in my desired domain name – an error comes up telling me that

  “This domain has already been mapped to a WordPress.com blog.”

  (It is, or was mapped to my blog) The domain name is still free according to godaddy.com….but I am not able to purchase it through my dashboard….how else can I get it back? Thanks!

  I see. Sorry about that. I’ve just deleted the old mapping record. Please try to purchase the domain again, and let me know if that works for you.

  Brilliant – thank you! I was able to purchase the domain. Currently I am not able to type it into the URL – does it take some time to go into effect? Thanks!
