Expired domain name, how to restore site after renewal?

I let my .com site name accidentally expire yesterday, registered elsewhere, pointed back to wordpress. Today, it reverted back to a strange generic template. I just renewed the domain name. What do I have to do to get it back to its normal theme/design? Do I have to restore it somehow?
I checked to see if nameservers are still pointed to wordpress, and they are. Will it just take some time for the domain re-registration to take place?

    Help?!

http://eileencubbage.com/ – loads fine for me – Oxygen theme – pictures of glasses on a person

it can take 24 to 72 hours for changes to reach the far corners of the internet – changes seem to be working now – but access will be erratic for a while

did you also renew the domain mapping?

great, thanks for checking. i guess i’m in the far corners of the internet. i still have a few months left on my domain mapping, so i shouldn’t have to renew quite yet….

thanks for your quick response. i’ll keep checking back…
