Hello there. letsgostaffing.com appears to be in the redemption period at the moment. If Staff are able to recover the domain for you there will be an extra charge to the registrar. Please see this Support doc on what happens when a domain expires https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/
I’ve tagged this for Staff assistance, but their replies may be somewhat delayed this week. Please be patient.

Thank you. Apologies about the multiple posts (was trying to get right the part that says “the blog I need help with is”).
Will be watching this thread.

Just checking in — any update? (My work email is currently unavailable because of the expired domain name and I’m anxious to get back at it).

Hi, there is limited support this week. Please read the announcement here: https://wordpress.com/help/contact
Since this thread has been tagged for Staff assistance, please be patient as they work through the backlog of forum threads tagged for their attention. I know this isn’t easy but only Staff can help with this.

Hi there,
As @justjennifer mentioned, the domain, letsgostaffing.com is currently in redemption. That means our registrar is already trying to sell it at private auction and the only way to get it back is to pay a $80 fee on top of the regular domain renewal.
If you agree to paying that, please let me know and I can get the process started.

I’ve emailed you a link you can use to pay for the recovery. Let me know if you don’t receive it.
I’ll receive a notification once you pay, and then I can contact our registrar to try and retrieve the domain. If the recovery fails, your payment will be refunded in full.

Hi there! I am having the same issue. We accidentally let our website domain isuwriting.com expire, and we didn’t notice until yesterday when we got a domain mapping error (Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.). We thought it was on auto-renew and it wasn’t until today that I found the expiration email.
Could I also get information on how to pay and recover our domain?
Thank you!

I’ve emailed our registrar to try and recover the domain. I’ll let you know once I hear back from them.

Your domain expired on 23 June. You should have received several reminder emails before that happened. If you never saw them, Gmail might be filtering emails from us. Please check the Social and Updates tabs of your email and move those emails to the regular inbox to prevent them being filtered in future.
I’ve sent you a link to pay for the recovery. Once we receive payment we can contact our registrar to restore the domain.

Thank you @kokkieh, that is exactly what happened – gmail filtered it, and I didn’t get it until it was too late (I thought we were on auto-renew). I’m surprised that the website didn’t go down before now since it expired on June 23rd. I’ve got email set up so this hopefully won’t happen again.
Will this link be sent to my email address, or my WordPress account? I’m not finding it at either place currently.
Thanks again for all you do! I appreciate your help and knowledge!

Your domain has been restored and is once again active on your site. Please let me know if I can help with anything else.
-
The link should be sent to the email address associated with your WordPress.com account. I just resent it. Let me know if you don’t receive it.
Your site did not go down immediately, as we give a grace period to allow you to renew the domain before we cancel and remove it from our system. During the grace period the domain still works, though there should have been a warning on your site or in your dashboard that the domain had expired.

Hmm. I’m unfortunately still not receiving the email. I made sure to check all of the folders, too.
-
I’ve sent you another email from a different system. Let me know if you don’t receive that one either.
-
I got the email and made the payment. Thank you SO much! I’ll wait to hear back (with fingers crossed it all goes well).
