Expired domain preventing new domain from working

  Hello, I did not want to renew an old domain (www.martlet.me) for my site but have recently setup a new domain (www.jordanhodgson.net).

  I have put in a request to cancel the old domain, which is still pending, but it is preventing the new domain from working on the site.

  I have contacted wordpress.com support but have not had any reply as yet.

  Could anyone please help?

  If you go to http://www.jordanhodgson.net, you will see the following error message. So any advice on how to expedite the cancellation request which is still showing as pending?

  The domain martlet.me was last renewed on January 6, 2014. It is configured to redirect traffic to the web address jordanhodgson.net.

  However, this domain name expired on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. It needs to be renewed every year to stay active or otherwise it will be lost. Please ask support to renew martlet.me before it’s too late:

  1. Renew domain
  2. Cancel domain

  Your blog’s domain martlet.me stopped functioning on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 and visitors who come to the web address martlet.me cannot find your site any more. Please note the primary domain jordanhodgson.net was also deactivated until martlet.me is either renewed or canceled.
