Expired domain recovered. Do I need to pay for new mapping?

  My domain expired a while ago. It was on GoDaddy auctions. I bought it back. My wordpress site shows that it’s still mapped to my domain name but it says expired. Will I have to pay to do another map to my domain?

  domain mapping is for one year – if the domain mapping has expired also then yes you will need to renew (probably buy it again) the domain mapping

  sometimes old domain mapping with expired domains need a nudge from the staff to clear out some old info – so I will flag this for the staff to check for you

  Hi there,

  I removed the expired domain upgrade from your site, so to continue using that domain you can head to the Domains page and add it to your site again. As auxclass mentioned, domain mapping is a yearly upgrade so you’ll need to pay for the domain mapping upgrade to map that domain to your site again.
