Expired domain to new domain but same blog?

    Hi,

    I left my blog for quite a few months now the domain has expired and I can’t obviously access the website or its contents however I wanted to change the domain and was wondering if I could recover everything from my expired domain to my new domain?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    Of what domain are you speaking? The account you’re using to post here has never owned any domains on WordPress.com.

    If you’re referring to andreiazoe.com, that domain used to be connected to a self-hosted WordPress site at another hosting provider. You could manage that site from your WordPress.com account because it was connected here via the Jetpack plugin, but we have never had any control over either your domain or your site, and we don’t have any of your content for that site.

    Please contact the hosting provider where you used to host that site for help. If you didn’t keep your own backups of the site, the only option to recover your content would be if your hosting provider still has a backup on their servers.
