Expired Premium – Renewed but not working

    I had let my Premium package expire because I didn’t have time to keep up. I went in today and paid for the premium subscription again, which said it included my free domain as well as private registration. Once I paid the $99, it is trying to charge me for the custom domain and the private registration and telling me that I need to pay to renew my old custom domain.. How do I fix this?

    Thanks for posting. I recommend you contact the support team. More details about domain expiration policy here.

    For domains registered through WordPress.com, an expired domain falls into a grace period for about 10 days to two weeks. During this short window, the domain can be renewed at the regular price. If you experience difficulty renewing your domain during this time, go to the My Upgrades page. There will be a link to contact Support for further assistance.

    Hi there,

    Sorry for the trouble! Your expired domain was still linked to your site and was interfering with that process. I removed that expired domain for you, so you can now add a domain for free from your Domains page.

    Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
