expired website

    Can you help me make a payment for the website which expired yesterday? I urgently need to get the site up and running and especially the email account.

    I have message saying that I am no longer the owner of the account.

    Your domain debbiesell.com expired on July 17. We sent several email warnings both before and shortly after it expired.

    The good news is that we are still able to recover your domain, as it is currently in the Redemption period: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-expiration/#redemption-period

    A late renewal fee of $80 will be added to the regular price of renewal. This fee is charged by our domain partner and is not one which we can waive. That’s in addition to your annual domain renewal from us, so the total is going to be $98.

    I have sent a payment request for the total of $98 to the email address on your account. Once the payment is sent, please reply here to let us know, and we will send a note to our domain partner regarding debbiesell.com. This process only takes about 2-3 days start to finish.

    Thankyou for your help. I have made the payment.
    Unfortunately the email address to which you sent the the warning emails I do not access on a regular basis and I thought because I had requested automatic payment this issue would not occur again.

    I have now changed my preferred email so this should not happen again.

    I would be most grateful if the access can be sorted as soon as possible.

    Thank you! We’re reaching out to the registrar for you.

    For what it’s worth, you’d also be welcome to just enable automatic renewals for the domain. We’d bill it each year one month before expiration, so that you’d have time to replace the card number if needed, or request a cancellation, etc.
