Explorer Plan not Signed up
-
A year ago I had a problem with my website. The topic is as follows:
https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/2022-theme-menu-dropdown-clipped-z-index-issue/
In the process of the tech support fixing the site all of a sudden the CSS feature appeared. I assumed that support added it because you folks broke the themes CSS.
Now I’ve gotten the following email notice:
Hi Phil,
Your WordPress.com Explorer plan subscription for friendsofthewoods.wordpress.com expired on May 7, 2024. Your site will remain as-is for a few more days — and all your content will remain, safe and secure — but you’ll lose access to some important features unless you renew:
I’ve only signup for a free account. I’ve never agreed to an explorer plan. I’m not responsible for your teams modification WordPress.org’s code base that screwed up the 2022/2023 Themes CSS.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
The current plan allows you to use CSS code to adjust the website appearance to your liking, however, we noticed that you may no longer need it now.
I noticed that the gap at the top is currently given by this:
So if you’re ready, you can downgrade your current plan to Starter to fix the previous gap in the header, but note that the other CSS code will be removed alongside the rest of the Explorer plan features.
If you need help upgrading or to chat about our plan features more, feel free to contact us again!

The home page is the only page that uses a large header, all other pages use a small header. The small header is the one with the issue. This was all outlined in the forum post.

Hi there, I’m afraid the issue with a sub-menu nested on a cover block is still lingering. As a workaround without needing CSS, you could replace the “Cover” block with a “Group” block and apply the same background image you’re using on the “Cover” block as a background on the Group block.
