export ALL of media library

  when I export my blog it only exports media that is linked to from within a post/page.

  how do i export ALL of my media library images (even if they’re not attached to a post/page) and then re-import into another wordpress installation?

  I’ll tag this thread for staff attention. In the past, I thought all media (attached or not) was imported on the other end when you selected to do so.
