Export All: Will doing this delete my site automatically?

    Hi!

    I’m planning to migrate my site to wordpress.org. I’m currently using the free plan here in wordpress.com. I wanted to backup my blog but I couldn’t install the plugins. I read the guide regarding exporting. If I understand it correctly, I can use Export as a backup without my site being deleted? Is the backup automatic? I’m hesitant to click on export because I read somewhere that exporting will automatically delete the site.

    Please clarify. Sorry I’m a bit confused.

    Exporting doesn’t delete any content. It just creates a backup you can use to import that same content into another site.
