Export Backup option not working

  I would like to manually take a backup of my sites content but when I go to export and click Download Export File the page times out and the export never happens.

  It is super important for me to have offsite backups for this site can you please look into it?

  Does anyone know the cause?

  If i remember correctly there is a maximum size to the file. in other words, your blog might be to big for a single downloaded file.
  if you are just using the export for a backup you can break it up into smaller downloads, usually just two will work.

  you could still import them all to a single domain if you had too.

  try using the start and end date and make two files.
