Hello,
i have exported my first wordpress blog to my second wordpress blog (as i needed to change url)
since then, some photos don’t appear in older posts. the disappearing photos change all the time.
which means they are all “there” somewhere.does anyone know how i can fix that? i erased first blog already,
since at first export-import seemed smooth.hope message is clear, and thank you in advance for your help,

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When you export a first blog and import into a second blog, ONLY text is transferred, no media content, e.g. images. The image links will still point to the first blog and if you delete the first blog you also erase the images. If you give me the URL of your blog I can check it for you.

U have to re-upload those photos on your new blog then change the photos links withing the posts into the new ones.
importing blog just imports the posts text, comments, tags, categories only. however it dose import the links to your media library contents. -

I can see most of your pics are still associated with your old blog http://mlleomphale.wordpress.com/
The reason why images are still visible is that they may be cached on your computer.
It is also possible that they are still in your media library.
In order to fix this, all images need to be re-uploaded to your new blog.

Thank you Husdal.Error was that i erased old blog immediately after transfer.
So it does not exist anymore.
Guess i have to start all over again.still strange that there are fluctuations in visibility.
