Export Blog files

    I have transferred my domain to a new site builder but would like to export my old blog files from the wordpress site — how do I do that? When I do the tools–>export, that link is no longer active because the domain is not with wordpress.

    Hi there:

    Since your site was not hosted with WordPress.com, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.

    You should reach out to the hosting provider you used to host your WordPress site. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and are the best ones to help you. They should be able to provide a temporary URL that you can use to access the export tools and process that export.
