export comments from page to post

  hello;

  I am converting my pages to posts, and I would like to transfer the comments that have been left on pages to the newly transferred post version.

  is there any way to do it?

  these old comments usually have a name, email, url, and comment, but the new comment dialog box has different fields ( it actually requires you to be logged in ).

  Log out and you’ll have the possibility of manually entering the name, email, etc.

  There is no automatic way to do this. It’s a manual copy and paste chore. Instructions are found under “Moving Comments” in this article > WordPress.com Comments and Discussion Settings
