Export content to wordpress.org

  Hi, I would like to export my content to wordpress.org but every time I try to export the file that I already downloaded from my wordpress.com blog; wp.org tells me that the file is empty. thanks.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  You mentioned that you already downloaded your export file from WordPress.com. You should be able to import that into WordPress.org by going to Tools → Import → WordPress in your WordPress.org dashboard. (Be sure to select the Import tool there, and not the Export tool.)

  If that still doesn’t work, please let me know and I can help investigate this for you further.
