Export does not get all content

  I’m transferring this site to a self-hosted install.

  I’ve run the exporter several times, and when I try to import into the the site on SiteGround.com, It only imports 11 of the 54 pages, and 1 of the 11 posts. It seems to hang on the import, and I see a blank page with just the title ‘Import WordPress’ at the top.

  Do I just need to wait longer? (I let it go for 10 minutes or so the last time)

  Update: I was able to get all the content by exporting/importing each type (Post, Page, Attachment) separately. Hope this helps someone else.
