Export file is missing blog posts
-
Hello,
I am trying to export my blog to my new wordpress site. I’ve gotten all the way through the process and uploaded the .xml file to my new wordpress site but it’s missing the last 5 blog posts that I had. I’ve tried twice to export my current blog with the same results. How can I get those last posts exported so that I can upload them to my new blog? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are those 5 actually published posts or are they drafts?
What are both site URLs please?
I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. They are posts, not drafts. I haven’t even looked to see if my drafts moved over but I’m less concerned about those. The old site is: https://willrun4disney.wordpress.com/ and the new one is: http://www.willrun4disney.com/
Thanks for the help!

I’ve now realized that in addition to missing the last several posts, I’m missing pages that I created too. Everything I posted after July is gone.

Hi there,
I see your new site is running the self-hosted version of WordPress, called WordPress.org. That site is not connected to our system in any way and we have no access to it, so there is no way for me to check the dashboard or the importer.
You can try creating a new export file of your site with us and importing that to the new site. It shouldn’t duplicate any posts already on the new site, but I also can’t guarantee that it will import the content you’re missing.
You can also try asking if anyone has encountered this problem before in the self-hosted forums, here:
