export file seems corrupt

    I have downloaded (twice now) my export XML from my wordpress.com blog to transfer to wordpress.org. I spent an ENTIRE DAY trying and failing to upload it (even though it met the size requirements). I then tried to splice it into 1MB parts and the software splitter could not upload it either. I attempted a second download and still, the same issue. PLEASE HELP. My readers and collaborators need my site back up SOON!

    Hi Sahra,

    The import seems to be working correctly on my side on a self-hosted install. I sent over the XML file broken down into several parts to the email address on your account. Could you try unpacking that zip file and importing the files on your self-hosted site? Order shouldn’t matter.
