Export from one site and import to another
-
I exported all the posts on one of my blogs and imported them to this one. WordPress advised that the imports (I broke them into two files) were successful.
SO WHERE ARE THEY ?
Is anyone a full bottle on this, please ?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m seeing posts on that site going back to 2013. Here’s the post list:

Should I see them going back further?

It was a complicated thing, Josh … but now it’s over (do I sound like Liza Minnelli ?).
What happened is that after importing all the posts back into this blog (meaning I had EXported ’em to a new site, and then realized how mad an idea it was), I have no idea where they went. I found several hundred in Trash, so used them instead.
Now I think I’m more or less right – but it was scary for a bit, there.
The thing that really irritated me was the total disappearance of all ‘Likes’ in the imported posts. Any suggestions on that, please …? -
I’m afraid that likes do not transfer between blogs when exporting/importing. It’s something that I can see being a valuable feature, but it is not possible at this time.

Such a small thing, it would seem; but the issue of ‘Likes’ has been exhaustively discussed on my blog, and in the end I stopped stopping them (!) and went with ’em … only to have ’em stripped off.
I hope it’s something that listed to be addressed.
Thank you, Josh. -
