Export Function Still Not Working (Blog Too Big / Unhandy ?)

  Damn, I saw this coming… I already posted about this problem some time ago, and it seems some others are eperiencing it as well.

  I can no longer export my blog !

  Or More detailed: I can export the arcticles and pages separately, but NOT the blog as a WHOLE (which would be a good thing, thinking about all the comments etc). Since WP stated that there is no hidden size limit (in terms of MB), I guess it must have to do with the pure amount of (complex) information held on the blog ? I have over 1000 rather longish articles, about 1200 comments and 12.000 tags…

  Please help me, I want to prevent a huge loss if something happens. Maybe you can grab the xml-file for me and send me a link (which worked last time) ? However, this would not be a permament solution for me and all the others struggling with it. But of course, a great help !

  You can export your blog content in portions using the date range option. Please follow the instructions at: http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/#download-your-content
