Export images from media library

  Hi, since I set-up our original blog, the computers that held the original images were stolen in a break-in. The only record I have of these images in within my WordPress site. Is there a way to export the images from the media library so I can reuse them in our new site? I copied the images from pages within the old site to pages in the new and they transferred over, but the images do not appear in the new site media library.

  Hi there,

  Your best bet actually is going to be to do an export from your previous blog and then import in to your new blog. That new blog can be either a WordPress.com or WordPress.org site, but either one will go and fetch all of your media from the original site.
