  Hi, I have a short question: if I export my website and import the data on another wordpress site, is the old one still available with all issues? Thanks

  Yes, the old site would still be available to see.

  Are you looking to move a site over to WordPress.com out of curiosity?

  Thanks, @aleone89 no, I am not so curious ;-). I would move my site to another wordpress account to try block themes and to have a look, which changes will be necessary (I have to change the theme because of the GDPR in Austria)

  You wouldn’t need to move accounts – you can create a fresh site in the account, which can be created here: https://wordpress.com/start/domains?ref=calypso-selector

  Hi @aleone89, thanks for the hint, that works. Sadly it is very difficult and time intensive to adapt my website to these block themes with bundled fonts. I really don’t understand, why wordpress.com doesn’t offer a solution for at least some of the classic themes. It is very frustrating…
