Export Links with Categories

  I am trying to export all my links from my old WordPress to my own WordPress (i’m hosting). I can export it by using the http://mysite.wordpress.com/wp-links-opml.php linke and importing it into my new WordPress site, but the problem with that is it does not import my Categories, it just imports all links into one Category – Blogroll. Is there a way to export both the links and the categories?

  Not that I know of, it did that to me also. I had to go back and add and assign the categories manually.

  I was hoping for some plugins or something to export the links categories. Thanks for sharing anyway.
