I want to export my media from my website wordpress.com with the tools : «
Export media library »….
The download begin, and about 70-80%, it’s bug : « Fail – Network error»My network connection is very good.
Can you help me please ?

I recommend using a download manager like DownThemAll which will allow you to resume the download if the connection gets interrupted.

Hi there,
Because you have so many images (over 2GB) it would be difficult for any network to handle as a single download.
Please try instead accessing the wp-admin dashboard link to export your media. https://romainphotoam.wordpress.com/wp-admin/export.php
On that page you will see the option to download your media, and if you select it, you can set a date range (I suggest just a month or two) so that you can download just a portion of your media library, instead of the entire thing.

Please try this, and download your media library in smaller portions rather than trying to export everything in a single operation. Does this allow you to proceed with downloading your media?

Also, to clarify, are you migrating to a new self-hosted WordPress site? Or are you trying to download a copy of the media to save on your computer directly?

Il try your procedure but i download an XML file.
I want my media not WML file :(I want for a migration to wordpress.org and i want for save my media too.
So i need media like zip with all pictures, not a XML :(Thank you again ….

If you transfer to a WordPress.org site with that XML file, all attached media will be automatically transferred from the WordPress.com site, no need to separately download the media files.

I hope i dont make a mistake ?And i dont understand why i can’t upload the same photo in my new site.
I’m limited by the weight and size of photo, and if i resize, the quality is not good :(And last, on wordpress.com i have “mosaic of images”, on wordpress.org (the software) i don’t find this option…

There are quite a few photos that made it across if you take a look at your model pages, for example.
Are there any specific that are missing?

I delete old links and i put new photos with small size because the same size doesn’t work with wordpress.org :(

For the Jetpack issue, please contact them about this via https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support if you have a paid plan, or https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/ if you do not.
As for the download issue, it also failed for me the first time, but worked the second. Would you please try maybe 3 more times?

Yes, it might be due to your new host’s limitations; you will want to reach out to them directly about that.
But for download, i try many many many times and always down :(
The same as my colleagues, I was able to download your Media Library without any issues. I will email you a link where you can download it directly. Hopefully, that will work :).

Yay! I’m glad it worked out!
Here, on WordPress.com, you wouldn’t be able to use FTP, so I assume you’re asking about the new, self-hosted one? I’m not an expert on that, so it’s best if you ask directly at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ :).
