export option not appearing under tools

  My friend has a wordpress.com site. I want to export her posts and pages, but export is not listed under tools. In fact the entire dashboard is quite sparse. How can I export her posts and pages? I have tried: http://beverlydluxeorganichaircare.wordpress.com/wp-links-opml.php/ with no success

  You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and go to > Settings > Tools > Export

  Thanks for the quick response. I can see and have access to her other three blogs. I thought that she gave me her admin PW. So from what you are since nothing is appearing under Tools, that tells me the login I used gave me only…subscriber access?

  I’m sorry but we cannot assist you with this. You aren’t the blog’s owner ie. the person with the username account who registered the blog in question. Please contact that person and have him/her follow the instructions found here http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/ to export the content out of the blog.
