Export Out of WordPress.com Problem
-
Hi, I am thinking of transferring a self-hosted wordpress.org blog to wordpress.com. My blog is pretty big (about 90 MB) in size. I was able to transfer my blog to wordpress.com through a series of imports. Just to check whether wordpress.com’s export works (in case I ever need to move again), I pressed the Export button on my wordpress.com installation.
And this is the error I got: “https://rtdmgb.wordpress.com/wp-admin/export.php?download=true&content=all&cat=0&post_author=0&post_start_date=0&post_end_date=0&post_status=0&page_author=0&page_start_date=0&page_end_date=0&page_status=0&submit=Download+Export+File.”
Do I also have to export in 15 MB increments? Does WordPress impose a limit to the blog-size?
Any help would be appreciated and of course help in my decision to move to wordpress.com (I plan to get the $90 package because I have a domain)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I am trying to export it out. While importing, WP.com says the limit is 15 MB. While exporting, what is the max file size? I could not find any documentation regarding this.

Just to add. The reason I am asking is because I want to know whether it will be possible for me to take regular one-click backups of my blog, as it continues to grow. Thanks.
