Export Posts to Another Blog Site

  I would like to be ale to export my posts to another forum site with a blog feature attached. How do I go about doing that? I have read the support page on exporting but it doesn’t give much detail after saving. Things like how to upload them to another site or at least the posts?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The other blog that you mentioned, is it a WordPress blog? If it is, you can go to its Dashboard > Tools > Import.

  There will be an option for WordPress, choose that and upload the XML file that you got from your current WordPress.COM blog.

  If it’s not a WordPress blog, the support team of that blog software will be able to guide you if the XML file can be imported and if so, how.

  I’m not sure. I’ll have to ask the admin. It’s a blog feature on an IPBoard forum site. I am hoping that I could export posts from here to that blog site.

  You will have to research if IPB has an importer for WordPress blogs. WordPress is by far the largest blogging platform in the world, so it stands to reason that IPB would have created an importer. But it is something you will have to ask the IPB support team.

  As rootjosh said, you’ll have to research and if you can, try asking in the IPB support forum, which is available here. This link might be of interest, though it’s a bit old.

  We’re assuming the other is an IPB blog. If it isn’t, you’ll have to research the method for that particular blog app.
