Export problem – File not found

  Problem exporting my site. I keep getting the file not found error. I can see my posts so I know they’re there. I don’t have the site marked private. I don’t know what else to do.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Will you tell use exactly what you are trying to create an XML export file of? Do you want it to contain all of your blog’s content? Or do you want it to contain only part of it?   Yes, I would like to to contain all of the content – posts and comments. When I transferred the blog from Blogger, there were three years at least, where only a few months of each year transferred. Similarly, none of the comments for the entire blog transferred. So, if I can retrieve the whole thing, then I can import everything that is missing.

  Hi Dave,

  Nothing you did! Once a site gets too big browsers can’t handle the process of turning all that data into a downloadable file. But staff can grab an export link for you instead, which your browser can handle downloading. :)
