Hello,
I clicked like every week on the link : https://wordpress.com/export/cinemondeenquestion.wordpress.com
I received the message: “Unfortunately, there was an error exporting your site Ciné Monde. You can try the export again, or contact us for further help.”
This is the first time I have encountered this problem. I export content others WordPress sites without problem.

Then try again.
* Log in to your account from a different browser and see if you’re able to export.If you’re still seeing the error message, let us know and we’ll dig further.

I emptied the cache of Firefox.
I selected the check box for Clear history when Firefox closes.
I restarted.

I received the message: “Unfortunately this page may not work correctly in your browser.”I can export content from other sites without any problem with Firefox :

I’ve been able to export these without a hitch and you should receive an email with that information.
Please be sure to check any spam folders that may be in place there.
With regards to the browser, can you tell me if there are any ad blockers installed?
Also, does this happen with another browser like Chrome?

Yes, but I can export content from other sites without any problem with the same configuration (Firefox 78.15.0):

It looks like the export is failing due to the sheer number of items you’re exporting (nearly 5000 items) and is timing out. It still works on your other sites because you have substantially less items to export. You may be better off only exporting specific time frames in order to reduce the file size.
Can you clarify why you’re continually exporting your sites? Exports are not backups of your site as they won’t include any image or media files. Additionally, because your site is hosted here at WordPress.com, we handle all necessary backups for you already, so you don’t need to do that yourself. Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.

But today I have the same problem with this site: https://wordpress.com/export/desdecoyoacan.wordpress.com which only contains 279 articles!Can you clarify why you’re continually exporting your sites?
The site https://mondeenquestion.wordpress.com/ was removed without notice and without explanation. Thanks to the backup, I quickly exported the data from my last backup to the site https://mundoencuestion.wordpress.com/.

Ah, if your site was taken down for a terms of service issue, exporting and uploading to another site would just get the other site shut down, too.

Ah, if your site was taken down for a terms of service issue, exporting and uploading to another site would just get the other site shut down, too.
I was told the closing was a mistake. It happens from time to time. But I did not contact the team right away because I was on vacation. No luck! It’s an old story …

I’m not sure I understand what you were referring to by closing. But we suggest not uploading the content that you had on a site that was suspended. If you do that, your other site may be suspended too. If you haven’t contacted our terms of service team yet about the suspended site, you can do so at this link: https://wordpress.com/support/suspended-blogs/
I see that @aleone89 was able to export without an issue. Have you received the link to download the export file? It was sent to the email address you used on your WordPress.com account (which you can check at https://wordpress.com/me/account ).

Me neither, I do not understand anything. This story dates back to 2016 and therefore has nothing to do with the problem I am having today.
I see that @aleone89 was able to export without an issue. Have you received the link to download the export file?
Not in the inbox or in the spam box.
I cannot export all content from the site https://cinemondeenquestion.wordpress.com/ (pages, articles, feedback), but first all 4,077 published articles and then all 14 published pages without any limitation.
What do you think ?

Unfortunately that’s the right word!
