Export WordPress.com content

  Hey! When I export my content, it is devided into 4 files. Now I have a problem importing those in WordPress.org. Is it normal that a white screen comes up while the import is running? If I close it, the import seems to stop.

  After using the WordPress Installer and selecting the first out of 4 total import files, the screen just turns complete white and the URL changes to /wp-admin/admin.php?import=wordpress&step=2

  Since it says “step2”, I guess there would be something I have to do now- is it a browser problem? I will just leave the white page open for a while now because if I close it, it seems as if the import stops.

  Is there a way to combine the 4 import files into one big? The .zip file I got from WordPress.com cant be uploaded in the importer.
