Export WP.com to WP.org

  followed all the steps to export the .com site and then import into wp.org, but none of the media imports. Also, the theme I am using in .com (Dara) is not visible after import (and does not appear to be available for selection.
  XML is 150kb.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Did you include media files in the export file?

  Choose what to export
  Content to export

  All content

  This will contain all of your posts, pages, comments, custom fields, terms, navigation menus, and custom posts.

  _Posts
  _Pages
  _Feedback
  _Media

  If you did then when you import there will be a prompt. You select include attachments as all media files are attachments.

  To answer both posts, I followed this exact guide, and selected all content when I did the export, and checked the box to download and import all attachments for the import.

  Should the export by a single file xml or should it have more than that (it only exports a flat file xml).

  Could it also be something to do with I am using the Dara theme in my .com site, yet that theme does not seem available on my new .org site?

  Additional tips:
  Prior to creating the export XML file on your COM site, you’ll want to make sure that any unattached media files are first attached to a post or page.

  When you import your XML file to your WP (org) site, your COM site’s privacy setting should be Public in order for the media attachments to be transferred over.
