Exported Blogger will not import in WordPress

  Hi

  I am having difficulty importing my blog from blogger on to WordPress, I exported the blog and attempted to upload it onto WordPress numerous times however it still fails as this is the message shown:
  Invalid file
  Please upload a valid Blogger export file.

  I have made sure that the file is a XML and the size is below 15MB.

  Does anyone know what the problem is and a solution?

  Hi there,

  It looks like you’re trying to import a template file from Blogger, in other words your Blogger site’s theme, not the content.

  Please get a new export from Blogger and make sure you select the Backup Content option, not the Template option:
