export/import links

  Can I export a blogroll from one WP blog and import it into another WP blog?

  Go to the dashboard on the blog you want to import the links into. Under manage > links, click on “add new”. In the right-hand column under “Related” you will see an “import links” text link. Click on that and then put the link to the OPML links file you want to import.

  It will be in this form: http://blogname.wordpress.com/wp-links-opml.php . replace the “blogname” with the appropriate stuff from the blog you are importing from.

  You can also choose a default link category.

  As far as I know, the WordPress.COM Dashboard does not have a built-in utility to export your blogroll.

  I didn’t find any export for links either. It must be on the cutting room floor along with the drag-and-drop widgets.
