exporting a readable version of the blog
-
how do I export my blog so that I can simply read the thing on my own Mac computer.
I have exported the xml file and have various difficulties opening it on my Mac, but have opened it only to find it is in the form of a long list, including vast amounts of code, and there is no sensible way of just even scrolling down from one post to the next to check them, locate them for copying or whatever else you might want to do with them.
I would have expected to export something that resembled the actual original blog when I opened it on my computer, and certainly something that is readable – which the xml file really isn’t – is it ?
Am I missing something here ? Is there a method of exporting a sensible and readable version of the blog ?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

there is unfortunately no quick and simple way to export a post to say a word docI’d recommend that you experiment with pulling up your post in your browser – just like someone would look at it live. Then in File/Print in your browser you could print out a hardcopy or a pdf. If you have Adobe’s Acrobat – which makes pdf’s – experiment with saving your post as html or as a full web site then import it into Acrobat.
Not a great answer; as I said there’s no handy way to do this.
Cheers!
