  Just want to make sure that after export the content remains on the blog for future postings

  Hi there!

  Can you please tell us more details of what are you trying to achieve?
  What’s the address of the site you’re working on?

  When exporting the content of a WordPress.com site, it will just be copied to an XML file, it will not disappear from the original blog.
