Exporting Blog

  I’d like to export my blog at wordpress.com so that I can migrate it to WordPress.org (on my own hosting package). In the past, this was easy.

  I no longer see the Tools –> Export option. I can’t find Tools at all. Did WordPress.com eliminate this feature?

  Login as admin and go to the link below.
  https://peacelovelaura.wordpress.com/wp-admin

  You should see “tools” in the right side menu. Need to scroll down to the bottom.

  WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.

  You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and navigate to Tools.

  Here’s the export page link below. * You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with your actual blog’s name in that URL.

  https://name_of_blog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=export-choices

  http://peacelovelaura.wordpress.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=export-choices
