  Can you let me know how I can export my blog posts to a xml doc?

  You can export all of your posts by going to your Dashboard > Tools > Export.
  To access your Dashboard visit the following link:
  http://infiniteperformance.wordpress.com/wp-admin/export.php

  The exported file will be in XML format. You can read more here:
