Exporting Blog Posts

    Hi,

    I have recently moved to a self-hosted blog and exported all of my blog content. The problem is that not all of the content has exported. I am missing blog posts between January 23, 2015 and November 23, 2015.

    Do you know why these files are missing?

    Hi @wittyandpretty21, if you run your import again, do more posts come through? My guess is that the importer at your new host timed out — your host gives you so many seconds to complete a requests, and imports just take a while.

    Try running it again to see if any more posts come through. If they do, you can either ask the host to check timeout settings for you, or you can just run the importer again until it finishes. This will not duplicate posts.
