exporting blog to self hosting

  I am trying to move my blog to self hosting but as I am a complete novice at any tech ” stuff” I am having trouble understanding all the ftp and other jargon!
  Does anyone know of any self hosting providers that will transfer my entire blog for me at a reasonable cost?
