Exporting Content

If I export my content and it sends me a link of all my work, can I then delete my site or wipe it clean to start over but still have personal records of all my posts.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you are exporting your contents from WordPress.com site, the following will be included in the XML file:
Posts, pages, comments, categories, and tags; uploads and images may need to be manually transferred to the new blog.
I wouldn’t suggest you delete your site because once it’s deleted, it cannot be recovered. Please see the below guides for more details:
