Exporting content – Does it also remain on the original blog?

    I’m creating a new blog at the moment and want to export the posts, links and other content from my existing blog to the new one, but not necessarily all at once and maybe only some of it.

    While I am experimenting with the new blog, the existing one will need to be functional. When I export content, posts etc, does a copy remain in its original place on the original blog?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Everything remains on the old blog until you delete it – exporting something does not remove it from a blog –
