Exporting credit from WordPress.com
-
Hi folks,
I see that my account has CAD 32 in credit. It’s from when I had a .es domain, after which WordPress.com stopped supporting that tld and my payments were refunded. I see from my receipt that it was supposed to be refunded back to my credit card, but that did not happen.
I’d appreciate help exporting that amount. Thank you for your time.

Hi there,
WordPress.com credits can only be used to buying or renewing upgrades on WordPress.com. There is no way to export those credits to use elsewhere.
We refunded you for that transaction on 16 April 2016. The payment was originally made via PayPal (not by credit card), on 13 April, and the refund was returned directly to your PayPal account.
You can see a transaction ID from PayPal for that refund in the refund receipt at https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing/. I’ve also now resent that receipt to you via email. You should see a corresponding transaction if you view your PayPal statement for that period.
The credits you see on WordPress.com should actually have been removed when that refund was issued, but it looks like that was missed. But those credits are not an indication that you’re still due a refund. It’s just an indication that the person who processed your refund forgot an additional step.
I’m leaving those credits as-is on your account, so feel free to use them if you want to buy a new upgrade from us. But they can’t be used anywhere else.
