  Hi, I’m trying to export files to be hosted on Siteground – but the file provided cannot be imported into their systems. Can you help?

  Hi Holly

  You should be able to successfully export your data from your WordPress.com site, and then import it into a new WordPress site elsewhere. The “Export” support documentation may be helpful so perhaps read through it?

  The exported file should be a standard .xml file that other WordPress installations will be able to import. Did you receive a specific error message when you tried to import the file?
